Superintendent Steven Enoch says the district wants nutritious appealing food for students.
"There's a financial incentive. We think it will financially benefit the food services program, so we see this as a potential win-win," said Enoch.
He also says this will meet all state and federal requirements for healthy food.
Superintendent Enoch says if Subway is successful, middle schools could be next to get this food in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.
