Student Injured In Oakland School Shooting Resting At Home
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- One of three people injured in a mass shooting at a Christian vocational school in Oakland Monday morning that killed seven others is resting at her family's home after being shot in the arm, her brother-in-law said.
Dawinder Kaur, 19, of Santa Clara, was in class Monday morning at Oikos University around 10:30 a.m. when a former student, identified by police Monday night as 43-year-old One Goh, entered the classroom armed with a handgun, Kaur's brother-in-law Gurpreet Sahota said.

He said Kaur recounted to him that the gunman told students to line up along a wall and started shooting.
Kaur managed to escape, and helped another student exit the classroom as well. He said her background as a U.S. Army Reservist likely helped her survive the shooting.
He said she was treated at a hospital and is resting at home Monday night, physically OK but "depressed" after witnessing Monday's events.
Sahota said Kaur had told him that the shooter used to be a student but hadn't been in class in five months.
