Firefighters Quickly Knock Down Fire At San Leandro Car Wash
SAN LEANDRO (CBS SF) -- Firefighters made quick work of a fire in San Leandro Wednesday morning, fire officials said.
The fire burned on the 14000 block of Washington Ave., according to a Twitter post at 11:51 a.m. from the Alameda County Fire Department.
In a video posted later, it appeared the fire burned trash bins and a portion of a fence separating the back of the self-service car wash from residences on Pagano Ct.
The fire department indicated the fire was knocked down in 15 minutes and did not expand to adjacent structures.
There were no injuries reported.
