Stormy Weather Delays Flights At San Francisco International Airport
SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KCBS) — Storm cells moving into the Bay Area Tuesday morning were causing delays for travelers arriving and departing from San Francisco International Airport, airport officials said.
An SFO official told KCBS that a ground delay program is in effect, which means the number of arrivals and departures to the airport is reduced by half.

Specific numbers yet of delays and cancellations have not been released but all short-haul flights—those that move up and down the coast and to Sacramento and Reno—are running up to 45 minutes behind schedule.
Oakland International Airport officials report no weather related delays.
Officials at Mineta San Jose International Airport told KCBS that operations there are mostly on time, with just a few of Los Angeles-bound flights delayed due to weather.
