Storm Brings Snow, Ice To I-80 Donner Pass, Chains Required
DONNER PASS (CBS SF) -- Tow trucks and chains were in heavy demand on Donner Pass as travelers heading to Lake Tahoe got caught in the latest Sierra storm. There were multiple accidents on Interstate 80.

Up to a foot of snow has fallen in some areas since Tuesday.
The National Weather Service said a winter storm warning was in effect through Wednesday.

Just about all of the ski resorts are open, and reporting 18-24" of snow at the summit.
