Stanford's Jeremy Green Leaving For NBA Draft
STANFORD (CBS / AP) ― Stanford guard Jeremy Green has decided to skip his senior season and enter the NBA draft.
Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins confirmed that Green will enter his name in the upcoming draft. Players had until Sunday's NCAA deadline to decide whether to remove their name from consideration and retain college eligibility.
Green averaged 16.7 points per game last season, fifth-best in the Pac-10 Conference. He also shot 42 percent from 3-point range and overall from the floor.
He played 97 career games at Stanford, starting 62 times. He averaged 13 points and three rebounds over his career.
The NBA draft is June 23.
