Stanford Men Defeat Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 92-49

STANFORD (AP) ― Jeremy Green scored 21 points for the second straight game to lead Stanford to a 92-49 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sunday night.

Josh Owens added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinal (3-0), and Dwight Powell had 12 points.

Allen Smith scored a season-high 23 points to lead the Golden Lions (0-4), who have allowed more than 80 points in three of their first four games. Gavin Montgomery added 14 points.

Stanford used a 32-3 run that spanned both halves to gain control of the game and take a 59-31 advantage.

After pulling even at 27-all, Arkansas-Pine Bluff missed 15 of its next 17 shots.

Daniel Broughton made one of two free throws to give the Golden Lions a 28-27 edge with 4:42 left in the first half. Green hit a 3-pointer 15 seconds later and the Cardinal went into halftime up 35-28.
