Soccer Fans in SF Cry Foul After Ticket Snafu
There are some disappointed and upset soccer fans after Wednesday night's big game between Real Madrid and Club America at Candlestick. That's because thousands were left outside the park for the first half of one of the biggest soccer events to ever come to the Bay Area.
With Real Madrid being one of the most popular soccer teams in the world, the match at Candlestick built up lots of excitement, but several thousand of the 50,000 who went to the game got stuck in a mass of people waiting to claim their Ticketmaster tickets at will call.

A spokesman for the event's promoter, The Marquez Brothers out of San Jose, says Ticketmaster sold thousands of will call tickets, which, caused with traffic and security caused a backup
Ticketmaster is not yet commenting.
Fan Justin Erickson says that to add insult to injury Real Madrid star Kaka, whose image was used in the game's promotion, was a no show.
"For him not to be there is kind of like going to see the bulls play back in the day and Jordan not showing up and no one telling you," said Erickson.
Erickson wants a $150 refund for two tickets.
The Marquez Brothers spokesman says they're looking into happened with Ticketmaster.
