Small Quake Jiggles South Bay

SAN JOSE (BCN) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.1 shook Santa Clara County Saturday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake occurred at 10:33 p.m., 9 miles east of the Seven Trees neighborhood near San Jose, 11 miles north of Morgan Hill, and 13 miles southeast of San Jose City Hall.

The quake had a depth of 0.9 miles, according to the U.S.
Geological Survey.
