Small Earthquake Hits Alamo
ALAMO (BCN) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.3 struck Saturday morning in unincorporated Contra Costa County near Alamo, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake struck at 10:23 a.m. and had a depth of 3.1 miles, according to the USGS.
The quake was centered 1 mile south of central Alamo and 4 miles west-northwest of Danville, USGS officials said.
