Small Early Morning Quake Rattles Oakland Zoo
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- A 2.5-magnitude earthquake rattled the animals at the Oakland Zoo early Wednesday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was reported at 7:37 a.m. and had a depth of 2.5 miles.
The quake was centered just west of the Oakland Zoo and just north of San Leandro city limits, according to the USGS.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
