Sinkhole on southbound Highway 101 in San Francisco causes lane closures
A sinkhole opened up on Highway 101 in San Francisco Saturday morning, Caltrans said.
The sinkhole was reported just before 10 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, south of Cesar Chavez Street.
Caltrans said the two right lanes were closed as crews worked to repair the sinkhole.
Drivers in the area should expect delays. According to Caltrans, there was no estimated time of reopening.
