Silicon Valley Internet Users Willing To Pay For Play
SAN JOSE (KCBS) -- According to a new study, it's a myth that people won't pay for online content.
Pew Internet says a survey of 750 Internet users found that 65 percent said they've paid for online content.
KCBS' Mike Colgan Reports:
"I will buy content for enjoyment, like music, or for insight, like Morningstar," said one Silicon Valley man. "I'll also use it if I find valuable research, like on Morningstar or the Wall Street Journal."
One third of those surveyed said they were willing to pay for digital music and software.
