Sharks Re-Sign McGinn, McLaren Ahead Of Free Agency
SAN JOSE (CBS/AP) -- The San Jose Sharks have re-signed potential restricted free agents Jamie McGinn and Frazer McLaren to one-year contracts.
The team announced the deals on Thursday, a day before the start of the free agency period.
The 22-year-old McGinn had one goal and five assists in 49 games with San Jose last season. He also had one assist in seven playoff games. McGinn has 15 goals and 10 assists in 143 games over three seasons for the Sharks.
The 23-year-old McLaren did not score in nine games with the Sharks last season. He has six points in 32 career games.
