SFPD Shooting Protesters Briefly Interrupt Muni Service
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Activists briefly interrupted San Francisco Municipal railway service Tuesday afternoon in honor of the two-year anniversary of the police shooting death of Kenneth Harding Jr.
Buses were in place for passengers on the N-Judah and J-Church lines around 4:15 p.m. when a group of protesters blocked the intersection at Church and Duboce streets.
By 4:45 p.m. the group had moved off the tracks and regular service had resumed, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.
Harding, 19, died near Third Street and Oakdale Avenue two years ago after an encounter with police conducting Muni fare inspections.
