SAN FRANCISCO INT'L AIRPORT (CBS SF) -- A cargo area at San Francisco International Airport was briefly evacuated as a bomb squad responded to reports of a suspicious package Wednesday night, an airport duty manager said.
Emergency crews responded to the Southwest Airlines cargo area around 8:10 p.m., duty manager John Ginty said.
A bomb squad arrived and about seven employees were evacuated from the area, he said.
Ginty said the bomb squad found the package to be harmless and employees were allowed to return to the area around 10 p.m.
