SF Embarcadero Glows Blue In Honor Of Fleet Week
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco's Embarcadero was glowing in neon blue Sunday night to celebrate the kickoff of Fleet Week.
The week is filled with airshows featuring the Blue Angels, the French Breitling Jet Team, the F22 Raptor, and a host of events honoring the men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces.

The Blue Angels will fly on Thursday, October 5; Air Shows are on October 8 and 9th.
All week, visitors can explore amphibious carriers, destroyers and cruisers docked at the Embarcadero free of charge. The Parade of Ships will be on Friday, October 7.

San Francisco has been celebrating Fleet Week since 1981.
