SF Bulls Unveil 2013-14 Hockey Schedule
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The San Francisco Bulls, a minor league hockey affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, will play a 72-game schedule next season that begins on the road against the Alaska Aces on Oct. 18.
Team president and head coach Pat Curcio announced the 2013-14 schedule in an e-mail Thursday to fans and the media. The team plays in the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL).
The Bulls home opener at the Cow Palace won't come until Nov. 8 against the Bakersfield Condors. Due to the Grand National Rodeo being held at the Cow Palace, the Bulls will play their first eight games of the season on the road.
Twenty-nine of the Bulls' 36 home games will be on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Further details can be found at www.sfbulls.com.
