Second Homicide In Vallejo In Two Days
VALLEJO (CBS/KCBS) -- Vallejo police were investigating the city's second homicide in two days, and one person is now in custody.
According to people living just north of Discovery Kingdom, it's usually pretty quiet, but not this weekend.
Someone heard gunshots at around 5 a.m. Saturday on Dublin Street and called police for assistance. Officers pursued the suspects for about two hours.
KCBS' Mark Seelig Reports:
One suspect was found hiding in a yard while another one escaped. Investigators also found a man who had been shot to death in a white Ford sedan on Dublin Street.
Just 24 hours before this shooting, police were called to a hotel parking lot on reports of a man shot to death in his SUV. So far, there have been no arrests in that case.
