Video: Sea Otter Released from Rehab in Half Moon Bay

HALF MOON BAY (CBS SF) -- After spending a month undergoing rehabilitation at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, a sea otter named Yankee Doodle is now headed home.

The otter was released in Half Moon Bay on Tuesday and gave a quick wave to the staff as he left.

Yankee Doodle had been treated for a number of illnesses at the Sausalito center. He is the second sea otter there to be treated and released in a one-month span.
