Schwarzenegger Returns To Film In 'Last Stand'
BELEN, NEW MEXICO (CBS SF) - Arnold Schwarzenegger will be making his movie comeback in New Mexico. The Valencia County New-Bulletin reports the movie "Last Stand" will start filming in Belen, New Mexico in October.
The movie is a modern day Western about convicts making their way to the Mexican border through New Mexico after escaping from a prison in Las Vegas, Nevada and it's up to Schwarzenegger's character "Sheriff Ray Owens" to stop them. Location manager Paul Roberts said the rest of the casting will be complete in September.
It's the first major movie role for the former California governor since 2003's "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines." He had a cameo in last summer's "The Expendables."
