Schizophrenic Son Stabs Woman In Oakland Home
OAKLAND (CBS SF) - A woman was stabbed by her son in her Oakland home early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing in the 1000 block of 53rd Street at 4:40 a.m., police said.
The woman was locked in her house when police arrived, and her son had fled the scene.
She was transported to a hospital in stable condition. Her son, who suffers from schizophrenia, remained at large, police said.
Police have not yet released his name.
