Santa Rosa Credit Union Robbed By 3 Armed, Masked Men
SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) -- Three armed, masked men robbed the Redwood Credit Union in Santa Rosa Monday morning, a police sergeant said.
The suspects entered the credit union at 2763 4th St. around 10:15 a.m. and ordered customers and bank employees to get on the ground, Santa Rosa police Sgt. David Linscomb said.
The suspects took cash from teller windows and left the area in a silver colored van that was waiting nearby. The van was reported stolen in Vallejo and was found abandoned in a nearby neighborhood, Linscomb said.
Witnesses reporting seeing two vehicles, which they believed to be driven by the suspects, flee from the neighborhood, Linscomb said.
No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
