Santa Cruz Police Searching For Woman Suspected In Bank Robbery
SANTA CRUZ (CBS SF) -- Santa Cruz police were searching for a woman who robbed a Bank of the West Saturday morning.
The woman approached a teller at the Pacific Avenue bank around 11:45 a.m. and demanded money, Deputy Chief Steve Clark said.
The woman did not display a weapon. She took the money and fled the bank on foot via the west entrance, Clark said.
She was described as a white female in her late 40s, 5 foot 3 to 5 feet 4 inches tall with a thin build. She had blond hair and was wearing a beige hat, a beige sweater, sunglasses and a blue button front blouse. She was carrying a woven wicker handbag.
