Sandoval, Walsh Jennings Named Judges For Miss Universe Competition
LAS VEGAS (CBS SF) - Giants 3rd Baseman Pablo Sandoval and Bay Area Olympic star Kerri Walsh Jennings have been named judges for next week's Miss Universe contest in Las Vegas.
Sandoval, the reigning World Series most valuable player, was one of ten celebrities named Thursday to evaluate the contestants in the evening gown, swimsuit and interview portions of the contest.
Walsh was one of only three women named to the panel for Wednesday's contest. The Stanford grad earned gold medals in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic games.
Entertainers CeeLo Green, Brad Goreski and Iorn chef Masahru Morimoto were also among those named judges, according to a release from the Miss Universe Organization.
