San Mateo Shooting Leaves Man Injured; No Arrests
SAN MATEO (CBS SF) -- Police were investigating a shooting that left a 24-year-old man injured in San Mateo late Wednesday night, according to a San Mateo police sergeant.
About 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police received reports of shots fired in the 1500 block of Lodi Avenue, near South Norfolk Street, San Mateo police Sgt. Rick Decker said.
The victim sustained a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
Decker said the victim's injury was not considered to be life-threatening.
No suspects were in custody Thursday morning and police were interviewing the victim and about 10 witnesses, according to Decker.
The shooting remained under investigation.
