One Killed In San Jose Crash On Northbound Highway 87
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- One person was killed in a crash on state Highway 87 in San Jose Wednesday afternoon, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was reported at 1:49 p.m. on northbound Highway 87 just south of West Taylor Street.
Initial reports indicated that a white Nissan truck had hit the center divider, CHP Officer Scott Cakebread said.
He said it appears that the victim was alone in the car, and that no other vehicles were involved.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
