Hsing has been playing since she was 8-years-old and has trained for years at the ICC Table Tennis Center in Milpitas. At Valley Christian, staffers knew the incoming senior was a force to be reckoned with.
KCBS' Betsy Gebhart Reports:
Eddie Moore, the school's Alumni and Community Relations Coordinator, said he was bursting with pride as he watched Hsing on TV and online.
"Not only is she a great table tennis player and a great representative of Valley Christian, she's an excellent student. She's very hard working. She epitomizes a Valley Christian student and we're very proud of that," Moore said.
Hsing hopes to attend Stanford University and she may also become a big threat in the 2016 Olympics.
