San Jose State Tops Weber State

SAN JOSE (AP) -- Keith Shamburger scored 21 points, Will Carter added 16 and San Jose State beat Weber State 62-46 on Friday night in a BracketBusters game.

Justin Graham added 14 points for the Spartans (13-12), who won their second straight and fourth of six.

Kyle Bullinger and Trevor Morris each scored 10 points for the Wildcats (15-10), whose six-game winning streak ended.

San Jose State's Adrian Oliver, the nation's second-leading scorer at 24.5, was held to a season-low nine points. Weber State's Scott Bamforth, the nation's most accurate 3-point shooter, missed both of his long-range attempts.

The Spartans never trailed and led by as many as 19 points.

San Jose State led at halftime 30-22.
