San Jose State Edges Idaho In Double OT

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) -- Keith Shamburger hit a free throw to break a tie, then found Wil Carter for a wide-open dunk with just under 2 seconds remaining to give San Jose State a 92-89 double-overtime victory against Idaho on Thursday night.

Shamburger's foul shot with 23 seconds left put the Spartans up 90-89. He scored seven of his 20 points in the second overtime, including two 3-pointers, for San Jose State (11-10, 3-7 Western Athletic Conference).

Justin Graham led the Spartans with 28 points. Adrian Oliver and Carter had double-doubles, Oliver with 23 points and 10 rebounds, Carter with 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Luiz Toledo scored a season-high 19 points and Jeff Ledbetter added 17, including five from 3-point range, as the Vandals (12-10, 5-5) lost their fourth straight.

San Jose State shot 64 percent in overtime to Idaho's 41.7 percent.

Idaho's bench outscored San Jose State's 30-0.
