San Jose Man Allegedly Stabs His Mother Before Fatally Stabbing Himself
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A man fatally stabbed himself late Monday afternoon in San Jose after stabbing his mother, leaving her in critical condition, according to police.
Officers responded to a family disturbance in the 900 block of Palm Street at 4:51 p.m., police said.
A witness said that his adult brother had stabbed his own mother, then stabbed himself, according to police. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the victim was transported to a hospital.
Police say there are no additional suspects outstanding in this case, which is still under investigation.
