San Jose Police Looking For Missing At-Risk Teen
SAN JOSE (KCBS) – The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing teenager who is autistic.
13-year-old Jesus Garza was last seen at his home on North 8th Street in San Jose around 12:30 Monday morning. Police said that when his parents awoke at 6:30 a.m., he was not in the house.
Garza has no history of running away and police said there is no indication of foul play.
He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and black shoes and is 5'-8" tall, weighing 150 pounds with black hair and black eyes.
Garza's parents said his speech is slow and deliberate and that at times, he may not be understandable.
He currently attends summer school at Horace Mann Elementary School and is also known to frequent the PetSmart store located at 607 Coleman Avenue.
Officers have searched the school and areas around the store, but have not located him.
