San Jose police find unregistered gun on teen suspect in retail theft arrest
San Jose police said three people were arrested in connection to organized retail theft on Saturday.
Officers were called to a mall in west San Jose after several people entered two stores with "equipment designed to defeat anti-theft sensors."
Police did not say how many people entered the stores, but they said they were able to arrest three of them.
One of the people arrested was a 15-year-old girl. Police said they found she had a concealed, unregistered firearm when they arrested her.
She was booked into juvenile hall, and the two adults were taken to jail.
