SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of 20-year-old San Jose man Ramon Ruano last month, a police sergeant said Friday.
Police say they have arrested San Jose residents Wahid Raza, 21, Robert Cordova Jr., 22, Michael Torres, 22, Travis Duggan, 21 and 26-year-old Blake Bailey on suspicion of murdering Ruano.
Police believe the slaying was gang-related.
Ruano, whom authorities have identified as a gang member, was fatally shot the night of Feb. 5.
Officers found him in a rear parking lot of an apartment complex in the 4300 block of Blackford Avenue.
He had been shot at least once and was taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:54 p.m., police said.
