San Jose Man Wins $208 Million Lottery Ticket Bought In New York
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - A San Jose man just became $208 million richer from a MEGA Millions lottery ticket he purchased in New York.
Financial analyst Daniel Bruckner came forward Friday morning to claim the jackpot and appeared with New York State Lottery officials at the Long Island supermarket where he purchased the ticket for the Dec. 27 draw.
Bruckner said he was in New York visiting relatives for the holidays when he bought the ticket, according to lottery officials.
MEGA Millions is played in 41 states, including California, and tickets cost $1.
