San Jose Earthquakes Open Season March 19
SAN JOSE (AP) -- The San Jose Earthquakes will open their Major League Soccer season March 19 at Buck Shaw Stadium against Real Salt Lake, according to the 2011 schedule released Thursday.
The Quakes play four of their first six matches at home. They will play a home match against the Los Angeles Galaxy, featuring David Beckham and Landon Donovan, on June 25. Thierry Henry, Rafael Marquez and the New York Red Bulls visit Buck Shaw on July 2 in a match that will be televised on ESPN2.
San Jose plays six of its final nine games on the road.
