San Jose-Based Integrated Device Technology CEO Tewksbury Resigns
SAN JOSE (CBS/AP) -- Chipmaker Integrated Device Technology says President and CEO Ted Tewksbury has resigned from the company.
The company said Monday night Tewksbury's resignation is effective Tuesday. It did not disclose a reason for the move. Tewksbury will also step down from the board of directors.
Tewksbury had been president and CEO of the San Jose-based company since March 2008.
IDT. said company director Jeffrey McCreary will be its interim president and CEO. He has been on the board since June 2012 and was in charge of worldwide sales and marketing for Texas Instruments from 1998 to 2005. Since then, McCreary has been an independent management consultant.
Shares of Integrated Device Technology Inc. slid 47 cents, or 5.4 percent, to $8.24 in morning trading.
