San Jose Bank Robbery Suspect Turns Himself In
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - A suspect in a San Jose bank robbery turned himself in to police in San Francisco, San Jose police said.
Alex Ryan Wells, 25, of Soquel, was wanted on suspicion of robbing the Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union at 140 E. San Fernando St. last Tuesday, police said.
Wells was also suspected in two other bank robberies earlier in April in Santa Cruz County, police said.
Wells turned himself in to police in the 100 block of McAllister Street in San Francisco on Sunday, police said.
He was booked into Santa Clara County Jail in San Jose on robbery charges, and was being held on $300,000 bail, police said.
