San Jose Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested At Casino

SAN JOSE (BCN) - A man accused of robbing a Bank of America in San Jose last week was arrested later that day at a casino in San Pablo, according to police.

The robbery occurred on the afternoon of Oct. 19 at a Bank of America in the 2600 block of North First Street, according to police.

The suspect, identified as John Bruce Lynch, a 44-year-old Milpitas resident, gave the teller a demand note and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was arrested a few hours later at a casino in San Pablo with the help of the San Pablo and Kensington police departments.

Lynch was booked into Santa Clara County jail on robbery and state parole violation charges.
