This charming store and website offer unique felt rugs from Iran. The owners traveled to Iran in 2002 to seek out these specific felt rugs, and ended up hiring a few mountain villagers to reproduce their ancient craft. Today, they pay Iranians fair wages to create hundreds if not thousands of rugs a year. These rugs will last a lifetime, and come in fun, eclectic yet neutral colors and designs that go well with any décor.

This store offers one of the better selections of mid-century modern furniture in the city. Standout pieces from Eames-era designers such as Milo Baughman, Paul McCobb, Hans Wegner, Knoll and George Nelson crowd the store. If you like the prices on eBay but not the hassle, and want to actually view the item in person, Monument is your place. While some may not understand the prices mid-century modern demands, they are actually quite competitive.
