San Francisco Cable Car Operator Stabbed, Suspect Arrested
SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) -- A man has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing a victim on a cable car in San Francisco's Chinatown late Sunday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing about 4:20 p.m. on a cable car near Mason and Jackson streets, police spokesman Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.

Responding officers followed a trail of blood near the crime scene, and located the man suspected of the crime and arrested him. It is unknown if the trail of blood came from the victim or the suspect.
The victim, whose details were not released, was being treated for a stab wound to the torso at a local hospital. Their condition was unknown as of about 5:30 p.m.
It is unknown if the incident was gang-related.
