San Francisco Bayview Man Stabbed In Neck On New Year's Day Dies
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man died after being found stabbed in the neck in San Francisco's Bayview District early on New Year's Day, police said Wednesday.
The victim, identified by the medical examiner's office as 30-year-old San Francisco resident Walter Smith, was found around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday at Third Street and Ingerson Avenue, according to police.
Smith was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No arrests had been made in the case.
