San Carlos Postal Worker Arrested For Stealing Mail, Identities
SAN CARLOS (CBS/AP) -- A San Francisco Bay area postal worker is facing charges that he stole thousands of pieces of mail to obtain credit cards that he then gave out to friends.
38-year-old Romeo Maniulit Natan has pleaded not guilty to identity theft, possession of stolen property and second-degree burglary. He entered the plea during a court appearance on Friday.
Authorities say Natan mostly targeted a San Carlos neighborhood and was nabbed after surveillance video at a Target store caught him using stolen cards.
A search of his San Bruno home allegedly turned up bags of undelivered mail.
Three other men are also facing charges in the case.
