Rohnert Park Home Invasion Victims Lose Pot, Cash, Property
ROHNERT PARK (BCN) - Police in Rohnert Park were looking for two men who restrained and robbed three residents at gunpoint Monday evening, making off with drugs, cash, and personal items from the apartment.
Shortly before 6 p.m., officers responded to a report of a home invasion robbery at an apartment complex at an unidentified location.
The victims told police that two black men burst into the apartment when one of the victims went to answer the door after hearing someone knocking.
The men, waving a firearm, ordered the victims to lie face down on the ground, according to the what the victims told police, then restrained the victims by securing their hands behind their backs using plastic ties.
While the suspects were tied up, the suspects filched an estimated two pounds of marijuana, an undisclosed amount of cash, and personal property from the home, police said.
