Robin Williams Reportedly Leaves $50 Million Estate To Kids, Widow
TIBUORON (CBS SF) - The estate of Marin resident Robin Williams will be split between his three children and his third wife, Susan Schneider, according to the London Daily Mail.
The publication says they obtained a copy of the late comedians will that indicates that he signed a prenuptial agreement prior to his 2011 wedding to Schneider. That same year he set up a trust for his children, now age 31, 25 and 22 to be cared for with funds from a trust overseen by a trustee.
According to the newspaper, it was not immediately clear who would get the Tiburon home where Williams was found dead in August.
Last week Williams death was officially ruled a suicide by the Marin County coroner and it was revealed that Williams had no illegal drugs or alcohol in his system when he was found hanging in a bedroom on August 11th.
Schneider has said Williams was struggling with depression, anxiety and a recent Parkinson's diagnosis when he was found dead by his personal assistant.
On Tuesday, TMZ reported they obtained documents which reveal that Williams suffered from Lewy Body Dementia, which results from abnormal protein deposits in the brain that often cause hallucinations.
Just last month the Williams children were in the spotlight when Zak, the oldest son of the Academy Award winner, tossed out the first pitch to Billy Crystal to start Game 5 of the World Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals as part of a stirring tribute to the beloved Giants fan. He was joined at the AT&T Park ceremony by siblings Zelda and Cody, who will now split his fortune.
