Report Of Gunshots Places Antioch School On Lockdown
ANTIOCH (CBS SF) - A high school in Antioch was placed on lockdown Friday afternoon after a report of shots fired nearby, a school official said.
Antioch High School, located at 700 W. 18th St., was locked down around 2 p.m. because of the report, school administrative assistant Jill Wibbenhorst.
Most of the students and faculty had already left campus because Friday was a minimum day for the school, Wibbenhorst said.
She said at 2:15 p.m. that police were combing the campus to look for the possible gunman.
Antioch police were not immediately available to provide more details about the incident.
