Oakland Police Seek Help In Solving Hayward Father's Murder
OAKLAND (KCBS) — Oakland police joined the family of a Hayward man on Thursday who was shot and killed last weekend to appeal the public for help in solving his murder.
On Sunday morning, Ronnie Kidd was on his way home from work when a single shot took his life. The 30-year-old father of three had just worked a double shift at his job in San Francisco.
Police said he stopped at his mother's Oakland home to get house keys from his wife, who was staying over to go to church with her mother in-law.

Officer John Haney said at 5:41 a.m. as Kidd was stopped at a light at 7th and Market on his way home to Hayward to get some rest, he was shot and killed.
"We have reason to believe that the possible suspect vehicle is a dark colored newer Audi, possibly an A4 with tinted windows," said Haney.
Kidd's mother Evelyn Coleman spoke at a news conference on the case at Oakland police headquarters.
"Ronnie was a very good man. He never been in no kind of trouble. He loved his kids, he loved his wife," said the mother.
Kidd's wife Serena said her husband didn't deserve this.
"Please...If anybody knows anything, if anybody heard anything, please just come forward," she said.
Police don't have a motive and are looking at several locations for possible surveillance video.
