Redwood City Man Charged With Impregnating 12-Year-Old Daughter
REDWOOD CITY (CBS/AP) -- Two California fathers returned to the United State last week have pleaded not guilty to having sex with their young daughters.
Investigators say one of the Redwood City men impregnated his 12-year-old daughter.
39-year-old Manuel Jacinto was arrested in Guatemala after five years as a fugitive.
San Mateo County prosecutors say he took his daughter to a hospital for an abortion in 2007, saying a young boy was the father. But the girl told police she had been having sex with her father.
Prosecutors say another father, 40-year-old Camacho Antioco Rodriguez, fled to Mexico last year after his 13-year-old daughter said she had been having sex with her father since she was 5 years old.
Both men pleaded not guilty on Thursday.
