Rain Forecast For 49ers-Giants Game Sunday
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) -- The Bay Area's recent stretch of sunny weather will give way to clouds and rain showers by mid-week that are forecast to last through this weekend's NFC Championship game.
Those planning to attend the San Francisco 49ers-New York Giants game at Candlestick Park should plan to bring rain gear.

"Cool with chances of showers I'd say would be the best bet right now (for Sunday)," National Weather Service forecaster Bob Benjamin told the Bay City News Service.
The rainfall is forecast to first arrive in the North Bay on Wednesday afternoon and spread to the rest of the Bay Area by Thursday, with the possibility of gusty winds and minor flooding due to several inches of rain expected.
