Raiders Coach Says Flynn 'Is Our Starting QB'
OAKLAND (CBS Sports) -- In the pass-heavy NFL, the Oakland Raiders have struggled to find consistency at the quarterback position. They're hoping to remedy that in 2013.
In April, Oakland traded for Seattle backup quarterback Matt Flynn and shipped Carson Palmer to Arizona. They then selected Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
This week, however, coach Dennis Allen reiterated that Flynn remains his guy.
"Matt's our starting quarterback as we go forward right now," Allen said, "and until the competition dictates otherwise, that's where we're going."
